The day I dressed up in green from head to toe after I went shopping all fancy to Dedeman, we also visited Erno's grandmother in the countryside. I knew we were going there and I also knew that her yard is well... not heels friendly, let's say. So I packed some stuff to change when we get there. A pair of green leggings and a light green sweatshirt to keep me warm (it's usually a lot more chilly in that little village then here in Cluj). And also some flats, of course. It was something super random and Erno's grandma doesn't have a mirror (since she gave it to us because I wanted a vintage one lol) so I only realized that it actually is a pretty nice outfit after we got home. It was late and the light was shitty and I only have these black and white pictures. And now I regret that terribly. How I regret each time when I shoot or post a picture in b&w. I love black & white photography, don't get me wrong. I find them very artistic. And some pictures would never look good in color. Yet I feel that it's a terrible thing to do with a photograph. To steal its colors. I had a grandaunt who used to wear pink and red. As in together. Lots of it. Basically half of her clothes were pink or red and she just combined them randomly. The other half of her wardrobe was black, just like her gorgeous super long hair. So she wore black and pink, or black and red, or pink and red basically all the time. Hi! Did you miss me? Or you didn't even notice that I took a break? 🤭 I wouldn't be surprised, honestly. Instagram really sucks lately and I guess you can't really see my posts anyway... So whether there are any or not, same shit. Which can be quite frustrating sometimes. But its not just this. Pita went to meet her forever family in Germany on Friday, and since her departure I couldn't really think about anything else. Is she there yet? Is she safe? Is she loved? Is she happy?.. 👀 So yeah... I was quite busy constantly refreshing the organization's page hoping for good news. She arrived. But that's all I know for now. So I guess I'll keep refreshing. 😅 until further updates. I'm also busy hunting some shoes on sales, so I am refreshing a few other sites too. Hoping for restocks. And I'm also quite busy watching Netflix because keeping yourself busy is the key of sanity. 😅 Otherwise, all I did this weekend was cooking (and eating, of course), cleaning (lots of cleaning actually), long walks with the boys, and hot baths. He is 4!!! Can you believe it? My sweet baby Pesto is 4 years old! These pictures were taken on our last trip together. Or at least that is what I tought. The day after he had to travel to Switzerland where his forever family was waiting for him already. I had no idea that our journey together has yet to begin. He traveled with us to 8 countries so far. I wish I knew exactly how many miles... But I stopped counting. And no numbers, or words can express anyway how much we love this dog and everything about him! Yesterday was delivery day! We’re waiting for the farmers each week like they are mr and mrs Santa Claus. 🤶🏻🎅🏻 On Monday I'm reorganizing the fridge and I decide what we have to eat before the new delivery arrives aka what should I cook that day. This week it was pumpkin risotto and "rock" soup to make some space for the vegetables we got for this week. I'm super happy and excited about this and PROUD AF. We managed to eat everything so far. No goodies were wasted. Nothing. And not because I feed the leftovers to the dogs or something. I recently heard that it is still a thing people do. And I was shocked. Sure, food waste is a very bad thing and we should all fight it, but not with any price. And my dog's health is off limits.
