Hey, You!

No, not you. I meant the dog, as I still hope he is a dog.

I mean… when you literally dubble your size in 10 days what are you? A dog? A mammoth? A monster?

Time will tell, I guess. Raising babies is like you want to stop time and freeze all the cuteness, but also fast forward to when it’ll be easier. Dying both from cuteness and from curiosity to find out how your baby will finally turn out. Usually I have an idea. About how they’ll be. But this time I’m completely lost. Sometimes I think he’s going to be HUGE. But then I’m not so sure anymore. Sure thing is that he’s growing like crazy, he’s adorable af, and so damn annoying.

The most annoying thing about him however is that we still couldn’t decide on a name. Naming pets is my superpower. Or it used to be… Even my friends were asking for advice every time they had to name a pet and had no inspiration. I named hundreds already, so I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Maybe it’s just that I’m exhausted having such a hard time lately. Maybe it’s that I still couldn’t figure this little guy out. But we can’t call him “hey, you”, or simply “You” forever. Or can we? πŸ˜…

Here’s a list of the names we like so far, you can tell us which one you like the most, or just get inspired if you’re also dealing with a puppy who has to be named. None of these might feel the right name for our puppy, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it can’t be the best choice for yours.

  • Big Mac
  • Mammoth aka Mo
  • Guard
  • Pilaf
  • Rubus
  • The Hound
  • Hagrid
  • Hulk
  • Orzo
  • Titan
  • Grizzly aka Grizz
  • Peddington Brown aka mr. Brown
  • Gummy Bear aka Gummy

P.s. He might not have a name yet, but he has quite a few health issues already, like he’s assuring his place in our very “special” family. Or maybe it’s just that we always complain about too much pet hair everywhere. So he thought that if he goes bold that will fix the problem.
