Testing the therapeutic effects of writing. Hope it’s still working. 👀
Here’s the situation. You drive 1000 km to be ALONE. In f*cking nature. By the f*cking sea. You find the perfect spot. There’s a forest that gives you shadow during the day, there is a nice flat place where you park the van, the sea is 5 m away from you. You can see it, hear it and smell it from your bed. The beach is AWESOME. The water is cristal clear, so we can finally discover and observe crabs, fish, jellyfish and other creatures living underwater.
Waves are not too big, so the dogs can finally enjoy swimming.
There are like maximum 10 other people on a beach long as eyes can see, there is shadow for the dogs down there as well… Perfect!
So we decide to stay here because why would we move if we just found the absolute perfect spot, right? First we planned to descover new beaches everyday. But then we found this one and we just fell in love. Plus, we figured out what a painstaking process it is to set up the tent (we have a roof tent on the van for an extra “dormitory” where my brother sleeps with his girlfriend and the cousins of Pesto and Frizz. 🤭 It’s very comfortable and private but it is hard to set up. It’s big, it also comes with a front part like a hall or something where you can set up a table with 4 chairs or you can play cards if it gets rainy or cold. Where you can keep some of the luggage because there is not enough storage in the van as you already know. 🤷🏼♀️ It’s quite cool and complex, but it takes quite long to put it all together. Way too long to do it on a daily basis.
Anyways, we settled down, and then we spent a peaceful night here, we watched the sunrise, we explored the beach and after lunch we drove to Balchik because we wanted to visit the royal gardens. Actually I did, but I can be pretty insistant about what I want. 🤭 It was a fail as well. Fail no 7393628. I will tell you more about it later, because a huge fail or not, it was all worth it.
We also had to fill up the water tanks and stuff like that, so it took long af. But who am I kidding, right? I took like 1 million pictures of the flowers and plants in the royal gardens. And to be completely honest this is why it took us so long. Filling up some water tanks would never take one whole afternoon. When we finally arrived “home” we found like 3 cars parked, and 4 tents under contructions all over the van. There were like 6 children over there. Noisy, like children are, of course. (And as their parents…) There are several children in my life who I love with all my heart. But I don’t usually like children. Children for me are just tiny human beings. And as someone who hates people I can easily hate children as well. It doesn’t matter how old you are, you can be an annoying, stupid, ignorant, and shitty person at 4 years old or at 53 years old. You are who you are, and your age doesn’t really have anything to do with that.
And you would never guess. Ironically, these people who just camped so close to us you couldn’t camp any closer even if you’d want to, with all their stupid offsprings, are all afraid of dogs, therefore they hate our dogs and because they don’t speak any English, or any other international languages like we do, they are using sign language to communicate with us, and to show us how they’ll hang our dogs if we would let them out again. 👀 I mean… we are 4, speaking at least 5 languages. At least. And they are playing Activity with us. 🙄 seriously WHAT? Where am I? I still hope this is a f*cking nightmare and they will f*cking disappear soon. Not just from here. From our perfect spot they are actually ruining and from our lives. But from the planet. Completely. I wish these people will stop existing soon. So they can’t ruin anyone else’s holiday.
L.e. Thanks to those idiots we packed and drove until we found another perfect spot. F*ck you! You pissed me off, but you didn’t ruin anything after all. It’s all about the mindset. 🤷🏼♀️
